After a celebrated season in New York City—where it ran as a permanent installation at Olfactory Art Keller from May through September 2025, the Scent Lending Library is now in Seattle at FOGUE studios and gallery November thru March 2026
Hi I’m Donna, the scent librarian. Seattle is my adopted new hometown, and I’m extremely proud to be able to present my SCENT LENDING LIBRARY to fellow Seattellites.
Here, I am part of the installation, presenting IRL. Come along and lets chat all things scent. New scents added weekly based on visitor participation.

Scent Lending Library NEW YORK CITY
Welcome to the world’s first ever Scent Lending Library, an interactive experience that invites you to browse with your nose.
Smell a curated collection of common perfumery molecules, alongside commercial fragrances and scents created by the artist and curator, Donna Lipowitz.
Featuring one hundred unique scents available for smelling in the reference section.
Fifty of these are in triplicate and available for Lending.
